To enhance exporters’ borrowing capacity, we provide a range of
direct guarantees to banks providing export financing.
We accept exporters’ assignment of their benefits under
their policies to bank, enabling direct-to-bank claims payment.
Buyer Credit Finance
This allows exporters to negotiate a cash or near cash contract including,
if relevant, progress payments prior to delivery.
The bank makes payments on behalf of the buyer, in accordance with the terms
of the contract. The buyer then repays the bank in instalments,
based on the loan agreement with the bank.
